Medication-assisted treatment does not replace a traditional rehabilitation program for addiction. It is simply one of the tools we use at SCA Recovery to help you in recovery. In addition to medication, you will be involved in a residential treatment program, which means you will be participating in individual and group therapy after undergoing a detox program. You will be assigned a team of social workers, psychologists, counselors, therapists, and others to work with whose sole focus is to help you on the path to recovery.
During your treatment program, you will also be working on making connections with other people, and finding a new purpose for your life beyond addiction. You may choose to participate in music therapy, meditation, yoga, and exercise, or create art as part of your rehabilitation. You can also work with team members to access educational programs or workforce programs to help with employment.
When you have questions about medication-assisted treatment or other parts of a residential treatment program, we’re here for you. Reach out to us at SCA Recovery in Los Angeles, California today, and let’s get started on a new phase of your life.
